New Bridge Academy is an independent coeducational day school offering a Christ-centered private educational environment for Kindergarten through Grade Twelve.  Founded in 2004, and a ministry of New Bridge Baptist Church, New Bridge Academy is an active member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). As we approach the 2009-2010 school year, we are embarking on a 2 year plan to seek and achieve full accreditation from ACSI. All of our full time classroom teachers have at least a bachelor’s degree and are fully certified by ACSI. 

New Bridge Academy is a school unlike any other in the area.   New Bridge students will find an extraordinary environment designed to equip them for life in the real world through:

• Character and leadership development
• Proven academic preparation, averaging 1-2 years ahead of the national average on the Stanford Achievement Test (SAT)
• Weekly resource classes in music, art, library, PE and Spanish
• Computer/technology partnership with the University of Richmond/Boston University
• A fine arts program with choral music, hand bells, recorders, band and weekly music instruction for each elementary student
• Annual competition/adjudication in Spelling Bees, Math Olympics, Creative Writing, Science Fairs and Art Festivals  
• Athletic competition on the Middle School, Junior Varsity and Varsity levels in Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Cross Country and Golf
