Bible - New International Version (1" wide or less)
Backpack or Satchel (no rolling bags)
1" Three Ring Binder (no zippers -- just a plain binder)
Day planner or Assignment pad
2 Folders with pockets (not pronged)
6 One subject notebooks with white, wide-ruled paper (no 5 subject)
1 Small pencil pouch (no boxes)
10 Number 2 pencils(no mechanical for first 9 weeks)
4 Red Pencils (no red pens all year)
1 Large Eraser
8 blue or black pens (no gel pens or erasable pens)
1 Box of colored pencils 24 count or less (in a Ziploc bag)
1 Box of crayons 48 count or less (in a Ziploc bag)
2 packages of pocket tissues (will need to have some on hand at home)
1 Pad of Tracing Paper at least 8 1/2 " by 11"
1 package of Baby Wipes
1 Bag of Individually Wrapped Candy
1 Pair of Scissors
2 Glue Sticks
1 12" ruler with English and Metric Markings
2 Sheets of Large Mailing Labels
3 packs of white, wide-ruled paper
Graph Paper with holes for recording grades (optional)
Addition and Subtraction flashcards 0-18 families (optional -- can be home made)
Division and Subtraction flashcards 0-12 families (optional -- can be home made)
Here are some supplies that will be needed later on this year if you want to stash them at home:
1 package lined 4 x 6 cards
1 package lined 3 x 5 cards (need 10 cards)
3 Three pronged folders with pockets
science project board
compass
protractor (6th only)
I will let you know throughout the school year of any other items that you need at least one to two weeks in advance.
Please label all crayons, colored pencils, pens, red pencils, and regular pencils individually with your child's initials. Please label scissors, glue, and ruler as well.
Place the following items in a one gallon Ziploc bag: bag of crayons, bag of colored pencils, 3 red pencils, 7 regular pencils, 6 blue or black pens, 2 glue sticks, and pair of scissors.
Place the following items into the small pencil pouch for your child's desk: 1 red pencil, 1 large eraser, 3 regular pencils, and 2 blue or black pens.
Lastly, be sure to label all of your child's personal items including backpacks, sweaters, lunchboxes, and jackets.
We will be labeling all notebooks, binders, paper, and other school supplies at school in a particular manner using the mailing labels that are on the supply list. Please do not label these items ahead of time excluding the Bible.
