1. Graded papers will go home on Wednesday of this week.
2. Any of you that have books on Virginia history, historical figures of Virginia, places to visit, books on the counties of New Kent, Henrico, or Charles City, we would love to borrow those for a few weeks for our unit on Virginia history for the fourth graders.
3. Fourth graders should have 15 of the final 20 pages completed for their project by Wednesday.
4. We will be starting history again this Monday for the last nine weeks of school. We will not begin grades until the quarter has started.
5. There will be no help class on Monday, March 8 due to a staff meeting.
6. We will begin reading book report books for both classes. Please pick out a book for your child that has appropriate material and send it to school for final approval by Monday, March 15. I am looking for good literary material. Fourth graders should have a book about 125-150 pages with 1-5 pictures throughout the entire book. Third grade books should be 100 pages with only 5 pictures throughout the entire book. They should be reading about 10-15 pages each night to get their book completed on time.
