Monday:
Describing actions that involve oneself: Reflexive Verbs: p. 179. Activities
from pp. 180-181. If there is time play; pick & identify the object. Homework
WK p.29.
Tuesday: Vocabulary
and grammar: Activities from pp. 182
– 183. Negative tu commands: Activities pp. 184-185
Wednesday: Using
correct pronoun placement with commands (p.186-188). Class will be divided in 4
groups, using a season of the year, each group has to brainstorm things they
should do and do not during their season and then writes appropriate commands.
(At least 5 things), season need to be specify.
Example: Summer (drink
water) - you have to drink a lot of water. Tienes que beber mucha agua. Don’t use
a coat. No uses un abrigo.
Thursday: Review
for quiz on Friday (include describing actions, negative tu commands, pronoun
placement with commands, and vocabulary).
La Farmacia
Vendetodo. In groups of two,
students need to make an ad for a pharmacy describing various products, tell
customers what to buy and why.

Monday: Review

Tuesday: Activities
from pages 214 – 215. Practice vocabulary & phrases with games. Identify
objects that can be take it to the beach.
Wednesday: Reading
El Yunque Nacional pp. 216 – 217. Answer questions. Students need to scan the
reading and locate all cognates and other words they recognize.
List some names of
national parks in the US. Each student need to research about 2 parks and
compare with El Yunque National Forest of PR.
Thursday: Review of subjects like affirmative & negative
commands, adverbs ending in mente for a quiz on Friday; complete
activities at pp. 218-219, vocabulary activities.
Friday: Chapter
Quiz.
