PTF Scholarship

Awards Issued

The PTF is proud to announce the following Scholarship Recipients:

Christlikeness/Community Svc: $250 each to Katy & Bethany Bertrand

Merit: $500 to Lainey Sheldon

Essay: $250 to Kay Bertrand in the Elementary School Level; $250 to Bethany Bertrand in the Middle School Level; and $250 to Justin Grubbs at the High School Level

Financial Need:  $1000 each to Two Undisclosed Recipients.

Those receiving Scholarships have been contacted.  If you submitted an application and have not been contacted, your submission was not awarded a scholarship.

The application period for the 2008/09 Academic Year has passed, however, preparation continues for the 09/10 Academic year submission.  Applications will be made available upon return from Christmas Break.  The anticipated deadline for 2009/2010 Scholarship Application is April 17, 2009.  Award will be announced (except for Financial Need) at the Awards Assembly on the last day of the Academy.

 2009/2010 Academic Year Packages Will Be Available Beginning January 2, 2009

For the 09/10 Academic Year, the Parent Teacher Fellowship of New Bridge Academy anticipates offering the following Scholarships: 

Christlikeness/Community

Service — Awarded to student(s) best exhibiting the Christ-like behavior of Leadership through Service and exhibiting New Bridge Academy’s belief of Excellence in Education while pursuing a personal relationship with Christ.

Merit — Awarded to student(s) best exhibiting New Bridge Academy’s belief of Excellence in Education while pursuing a personal relationship with Christ.

Essay — Awarded to student(s) best exhibiting a complete, well thought, original essay based on the given topics demonstrating their personal belief in Excellence in Education and a personal relationship with Christ

Financial Need — Awarded to student(s) exhibiting extreme financial need and New Bridge qualities of Excellence in Education while pursuing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Completed information on the 2009/2010 Application guidelines will be released in January 2009. 

Applicants may apply for more than one type of Scholarship and can even apply for each type.  Guidelines for applicants and recipients are included in the Application Package.
