2008/09 Dining Plan

The cost of a full lunch this year is $3.00, which includes a choice of milk.  NBA participates in a pre-ordered Lunch Program.  Detailed below is the process for pre-ordering lunches for your student(s).

The process for the Lunch Program is as follows:

·        Please review the Ordering Menu (Click here).  Fill out and return to the school Administrator by dated notated on order form.  You will be receiving monthly menus approximately 5 to 6 weeks before the Ordering Month.

·        Each student at NBA requires a separate lunch order form.  Please complete the information at the top of the form for each student.

·        To order lunches, mark the box in the upper right corner marked "Lunch" of each of the date(s) your child wishes to buy lunch.  If your child wants only milk, please indicate so by marking the box in the right bottom corner (marked "Milk Only") of the appropriate date(s).

·        Total the number of days your child wishes to purchase lunch.  Enter that number in the Total Lunches Ordered blank at the top of the form. 

·        Total the number of days your child wishes to purchase milk only.  Enter that number in the Total “Milk Only” Ordered blank at the top of the form. 

·        Using the pre-entered prices, calculate the total amount due for lunches and milk only orders.  You may submit one check for multiple children and for combined milk and lunch orders.

·        REMEMBER – This form must be returned by deadline to the Office!    The forms must be returned with payment to the Office, not teachers.

·        Once the deadline has passed, your child’s teacher will receive a record of which days your child has ordered lunch or milk. 

·        Your child will be credited a maximum of 5 lunches per school year for absences due to illness or sickness where he/she ordered lunch but was not present to receive lunch.

·        If a child does NOT order a lunch and does not bring a lunch, a simple lunch of a sandwich, piece of fruit, and milk will be provided and billed to the parents at the normal $3.00 lunch cost.

·        Bills reflecting lunches received but not preordered will be issued on the last day of the month.  Payment for Lunch billings is due by within 10 days of the invoice.
