According to revised by-laws, passed in May 2007, the New Bridge Academy Parent Teacher Fellowship Board of Directors consists of:

    • President:  The President shall preside at all meetings of the Fellowship; and shall be an ex-officio member of all the committees of the Fellowship; and shall perform all other duties usually pertaining to the office of the President.   The President is empowered to appoint committees needed to complete PTF business.  Also, the President will perform any other duties allocated to the office by the Board of Directors.
    • Vice President:  The Vice-President shall perform the duties of the President in the absence or inability of that officer to act, and shall assist the President when called upon.  In case of vacancy in the office of President, the Vice-President shall assume the duties of the President until the next annual election.  This overrides Article 6 of Section VI, due to the importance of prior knowledge and experience being needed for the roll of President.  In addition, the Vice-President is responsible for coordinating organization volunteerism to assist with fulfilling the operating plan and they will perform any other duties allocated to the office by the Board of Directors.
    • Secretary:  The Secretary shall keep a record of all Executive Board meetings and shall provide the President with a list of all unfinished business from the previous meeting.  The Secretary shall complete the correspondence from the Executive Board to the other committees as required and perform any other duties allocated to the office by the Board of Directors.
    • Treasurer:  The Treasurer shall keep a financial record of all transactions of the PTF.  The Treasurer shall issue checks as directed by the PTF  The Treasurer shall provide the President with a statement of the financial status at each PTF meeting and give a report to the members at large, and perform any other duties allocated to the office by the Board of Directors.
    • Fundraising Director:  The Fundraising Director shall serve on the Board of Directors and will have voting rights for all matters considered by the board. In the event of a vacancy of one of the officers, other than President, the Fundraising Director will serve the vacancy until the next general membership meeting when the vacancy will be filled by general election of the PTF.  This Director is responsible for coordinating all fundraising activities for the Board and is empowered to form committees as necessary to successfully run fundraising events.  In addition, this Director will perform any other duties allocated to the office by the Board of Directors. 
    • Parent Volunteer Coordinator:  The Parent Coordinator shall serve on the Board of Directors and will have voting rights for all matters considered by the board. This Director is responsible for ensuring communication between the Board of Directors, Committees, and the families of New Bridge Academy.  This Director will perform any other duties allocated to the office by the Board of Directors. In addition, the Parent Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating at least one room parent for each class and with facilitating all communication with the room parents, teachers, School Administrator and parents.
    • Ex-Officio Member:  The Ex-Officio Member will be the School Administrator or their appointed designee.  The Ex-Officio Member will contact the President in the event that they are unable to attend or participate in a PTF event or meeting.  The Ex-Officio member does not have voting rights while serving on the Board of Directors.
